[TAF] Manny killed 3 of my clan-mates this evening (please see the kill logs) - he shot down 3 of them for NO REASON and then robbed their bodies of their gear. He remains on the server un-banned, despite our protests.
Minutes later, I killed [TAF] Manny in an attempt to A) recover our gear, and B) defend ourselves from future unwarranted attack. As a result, I was instantly banned.
The situation was this: my three clan-mates had just recently been sniped by [TAF] Manny for no apparent reason. [TAF] Manny had then looted their bodies, and met up with [TAF] Cpt.Cannabis and [TAF] Caboose just north of our base, apparently fixing up a Mi17, and I decided I was going to get my clan-mates' gear back. By server rules, if [TAF] Manny was stealing from our clan (not to mention killing three of them for no reason), I'd be well within my rights to kill him. That is, unless the rules don't apply to TAF, and only apply to others...
It should be worth noting, moments before killing [TAF] Manny, I sat patiently watching as [TAF] CptCannabis and [TAF] Caboose walked around fixing up a heli, and HELD my fire, because I didn't have a right to shoot them. I ONLY had a right to shoot [TAF] Manny based on his previous actions. So when [TAF] Manny walked into my sights, I shot him. This wasn't an act of trolling the server, or an act of vengeance towards TAF. If I had shot dead all three (wish would've been very easy in my position), I would be in the wrong. But I didn't. I held my fire and only took action against the player who had wronged us and violated server rules.
I adhered to the rules of the server strictly, and was subsequently banned. [TAF] Manny violated the rules of the server in the most extreme manner (killing 3 players, and stealing gear) and remains un-banned.
Does TAF have a right to kill anyone they'd like with no restriction? Should anyone who defends them-self expect to be banned as well? When did TAF gain this immunity, and why wasn't the server informed properly? When did we lose our right to defend ourselves from people who murder and steal from our team-mates? This whole situation makes it seem as if TAF, all of a sudden, has the same power as the admins. Please advise
