Trading post town? A town where players can set up homes and camps to trade and auction their items. Thought it would be interesting.

Why not have a Trading Post part on these forums , where players can offer and or ask for Loots/vehicles ?

So the server was having a small side chat discussion about vehicle hoarding. The point about people having 6 cars and 2 helicopters was highly agreed with.
So I thought about it. What if we had a 'Authorized Salesman License' which allows you to have 1-2 more cars than the regular amount?
However,
The conditions are that the license requires and application and reasonable pricing. If you have more vehicles and are planning on selling them, why sell them for 7-8 remats when you have more the sell them cheaper?
Example(since that may have been confusing..):
Normal Player -
2 cars, 1 Heli, Boat - Typical car = 4-5 remats
Authorized Salesman Licensed Player -
4 cars, 1-2 helis, boat - Typical car = 2-3 remats
Just a suggestion, probably needs some work....

The license thing would probably be abused, people would be getting it and saying they will sell cars but in reality they would probably keep the cars for themselves

i had a similar idea today , how about having a forum database along the lines of registering proper ownership of your vehicle . With a rule saying you have to register new ownership of any vehicle you own.
This would encourage the use of the forums , and discourage people from stealing registered vehicles. It would only take a short message on the forums to state the vehicle you have acquired, and would be a good list to see whos got what .
there could be warnings for people with unregistered vehicles and a short time limit to register them .
You could state where or how the vehicle was acquired from or who sold you etc
All you would need would be a list of Players who correctly register vehicles and a admin to regularly update the list , id make the post only editable by an admin .
maybe difficult to set up but could be worked out and tweeked .
E.G.
Timmeek
Mi17 Heli : Fresh Spawn Yaroslov Airfield.
Bathtub car : Fresh spawn Yaroslov street.
just an idea guys to help scare away thieving Shits .

Remwmber that in origins admins have no power, all they can do is ban and kick so they wouldnt not be abe to keep track of the vehicles, and not all players use forums so yea... people would still steal and wouldnt be found.

Yes but its easy to see who driving or flying vehicles and would only need a quick of the list on the forums to see if its a registered vehicle ... simplez .
